The project is aimed at equipping at least 120 young people in and around the city of Bamenda to adapt to present hybrid learning practices and to prepare for the future of work while empowering them to be drivers of safe and peaceful online and offline communities

Cameroon Renewed Project

The consortium of 3 EU organizations (Noorderpoort- NL; APRO- IT, MasterPeace- NL) in partnership with 3 Cameroonian organizations, including SOPISDEW will be implementing a Renewable Energy Vocational Education and Training Project for 24 months beginning January 2023 to end in December 2025. The objective is to improve and increase the capacity of VET teachers and trainers; to boost the exposure of staff, teachers and learners using 21st century and innovative renewable energy blended VET materials on Solar, Wind and Hydro Systems development

Introducing Regenerative Urban Gardening with IDPs in Bamenda, Cameroon

The project consist of engaging the IDP population (women, girls and youth) to design and implement small-scale regenerative urban agricultural systems including reusing plastics for gardening and developing personal and community composting systems. The goal is to promote proper waste and water management and the objectives are to increase access to adequate, nutritious and healthy food for IDPs which will go a long way to promote the peaceful integration of IDPs into the community by avoiding conflict over resources while generating income for IDP households to ensure food security
