KING SINTIEH II VOCATIONAL REHABILITATION INITIATIVE is a crosscutting initiative engaging SOPISDEW Cameroon Sustainable Livelihood, Capacity Building and Entrepreneurship, Protection and Social Welfare Programs and has been designed to support the legacy of KING SINTIEH II of Oku in North West Region Cameroon. He was an academic and traditional ruler of the Oku People. Our Goal is to ensure that conflict-affected youth are empowered through vocational rehabilitation

OBJECTIVES

  • To equip conflict-affected young people with relevant vocational skills for their socio-economic empowerment and integration
  • To provide start-up materials and capital for conflict-affected young people with relevant vocational skills to begin small businesses in their communities

Targets

The initiative targets young people who are internally displaced within and without the region, including victims of and former perpetrators of violence with special emphasis on girls and young women.
